Check inside for parade photos and more! Fulton’s annual Memorial Day Salute got off with a bang Friday night. On Friday evening there were many activities held at Recreation Park on Route 3, West Broadway. Local and nationally recognized groups played music. And then, there were the fireworks. The event hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today.
There is no place in the world like Las Vegas. The hotels are over the top. We stayed at the Venetian Hotel which is luxurious. The really amazing part was the room price for the nights we were there was about the same the Holiday Inn Express. But the rate is sometime over $300. So, it pays to check all the hotels and look for deals.
Applications are now being accepted for the Muriel Allerton Scholarship Award given each year by the Professional Journalists and Communicators of Oswego County. Graduating high school seniors throughout the county who are planning to continue their education in a communications-related field are invited to apply for the $1,000 prize.
Springside vice president and chief operating officer Teresa Ferlito noted, “Springside is broadening its list of all-included services by adding wireless internet service for the congregate apartment building. It has been part of our plan to continue to stay up-to-date, and we are doing so by providing requested services such as this.”
