Fortunatly we have a Republican state Senate that should be able to stop the commicrat bill. This should be a lesson to dumb sportsmen who vote democrat– Remember EVERY democrat is obligated to vote his partys agenda, and they do. Two teachers winning the school board election…what a treat for the taxpayers. I used the pencil and wrote in Fran Hoefer.

Also great job to the voters for approving a $15 million capital plan, of which they only need $9 million for their wish list. That last $6 million of “contingency for unforeseen emergencies” will be used on raises for the superintendent and the rest of the staff.

It is a shame that New York State citizens are held hostage by New York City politicians. NYC should be a seperate goverment from the rest of the State, like D.C. In that way, the people of this State could enjoy more freedoms.

The courts have handcuffed the law enforcement in New York that the last-ditch attempt at controlling crime is to attack the innocent, lawful person. Also it looks good on the “score sheet” of accomplishments that shows the electorate that they are doing something even though to NO effect. “Vote for me and I will ensure that no crime will exist when we ‘lock up the innocents’.” “Also everybody will have a new sidewalk in front of their houses” (you will have to pay for and maintain them, but you will have them). Sound familiar?

When asked, most of us would say nothing is more important than our children and their education. Robbin Griffin did not just pay lip service to that belief; she served for over 20 years as a member and officer on the Fulton Board of Education. Community service like this is rare. I learned a great deal from Robbin during my time on the BOE. Thank you Robbin for giving so much of your time to our school district and our children.
