The story of the play concerns four affluent couples who gather for a dinner party celebrating their host's tenth wedding anniversary. Kristina Rathbun was going to quit school. A straight A student whose grades sank because of problems with other students, she thought the only alternative was to leave. Instead, she landed in a little-known district program for students with poor grades, attendance or behavior.
