Today is the day we here in the 23rd decide which direction our area and to a degree our nation wants to travel. Our choice is simple. More governmental control over its people and businesses along with higher taxes and spending or do we choose fiscal responsibility, less spending and job creation through lower taxes on our employers. It appears that candidate Hoffman has a widening lead over democrat Bill Owens but this is politics and nothing is ever certain. By now, most of us have made our choice. Now it's time to make our voice heard. Please don't be lulled into complacency and inactiveness today because of the latest poll results. The polls say what they do because in them you said that you would vote. Today we chose and chose is an action word. Good morning voters.
