Fulton Board of Education Holds Special Meeting Tonight

[The first version of this story erroneously placed tonight’s meeting in the wrong location.  It has been corrected, with our apologies.]

Fulton’s Board of Education holds a special, closed-door meeting tonight at 7:15 p.m. at the Education Center Fulton Junior High School.

The board will hold an executive session to discuss recruitment for the vacant High School Assistant Principal position.  Superintendent of Schools Bill Lynch said that no action is expected to be taken after the private discussion.

Retired teacher Sal Fiordimalva is filling the position on an interim basis.

High school assistant principal Brian Buchanan resigned in October.  He spent a lengthy period away from work during the previous school year. When he returned, he gave up his post as principal, taking the assistant principal’s position.
