Oswego River report:

According to Larry Muroski of Larry’s Oswego Salmon Shop:

The water flow has been up and down again the last couple of days running at 6,030cfs this morning. The weekend weather looks great with temperatures reaching the upper 60s by Sunday. The trout fishing has been very good. Plenty of steelhead along with some rainbows and browns can be found throughout the river. The same bait is working well including egg sacs, crazy eggs, beads, and estaz flies. Just a note that there is no access to Leto’s Island from the eastside.

Salmon River report:

The upper end of the river seems to be holding the most fish at this time. Anglers fishing in the lower end of the river did get into some fresh chrome but reported working very hard for the fish they got. With Veteran’s Day coming up the fishing pressure will continue to pick up as we head into the holiday weekend. For those anglers who are fly fishing egg patterns and nymphs have been working the best. For those anglers who are bottom bouncing and float fishing, blue egg sacs and trout beads have been working well. The fresh fish in the lower end of the river still seem to be holding in the transition water, while fish in the upper end of the river are holding in the deeper holes along with the transition water.

According to Garrett Brancy of Douglaston Salmon Run:

Some nice steelhead have been reported on the run and a fair number of brown trout continue to be caught. Anglers reported small estaz eggs #10-12 in pink and chartreuse along with Blood dots #8-10 in white and orange are getting the job done. Spin and center-pin anglers reported catching fish on 8mm Honey and Sunny D-light beads as well as white egg sacs. Water temperatures have dropped to 40 degrees and the water release will remain at 335cfs through midnight tonight.

Oneida Lake report:

Anglers are finding a decent perch bite on the lake in 12-15 feet of water. The nighttime bite for walleye has been decent for anglers casting stickbaits with black and silver and blue and silver being good color choices. Try fishing in Big Bay, off Cleveland and near buoys 119 and 121.
