Theresa M. Cook, 51

OSWEGO, NY – Theresa M. Cook, 51, of Fulton and formerly of Oswego, passed away Tuesday November 13, 2012, at her home.

She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the Marilyn Ahart LaPlante and the late Walter Cook.

Miss Cook is survived by her mother, Marilyn (John) LaPlante of Ocala, Florida; three brothers, Kenneth (Doreen) Cook, James Cook and Richard Cook all of Oswego.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a son, Jeremy Cook; a brother, Kevin Cook; and her maternal grandparents, Frances and Leonard Ahart.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are by the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.

Former Fulton Man Charged with Disorderly Conduct in Providence R.I.

According to authorities in Providence, R.I., a Fulton man is somehow involved in an assault that left a college basketball player hospitalized in critical condition. Around 2:23 a.m. on May 12, Joseph Sharkey, a Brown University basketball player was punched in the head, leaving him seriously injured. Sharkey fractured his skull on the concrete and was taken to a Rhode Island hospital. A Connecticut man was charged with the assault. Dillon James “DJ” Ingham of Fulton was charged with one count of disorderly conduct related to the incident.
