Fulton Police, Week of Oct. 22, 2012

Joicelyn Y. Brooke, 19, of 544 Valley Dr., Syracuse was charged Oct. 22 with soliciting without a permit for allegedly selling door to door for Citizens Choice Energy.

Nicole M. Vanhorn, 23, of 5350 Route 104, Lot 6, Oswego was arrested Oct. 22 on a bench warrant from Fulton City Court alleging failure to appear in court as ordered and failure to pay a $100 fine.

Roger M. Allen, Jr., 55, of 401 W. First St. S., Fulton was charged Oct. 22 with criminal contempt and harassment for allegedly violating an order of protection.

Michelle L. Fey, 42, of 70 Route 176, Hannibal was charged Oct. 23 with disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling derogatory language loudly in response to other people being arrested.

Tyko J. Delaney, Jr., 27, of 202 S. Third St., Fulton was charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon Oct. 23 for allegedly pointing a black imitation handgun at a group of people.

Nancy Delaney, 33, of 202 S. Third St., Fulton was charged Oct. 23 with disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling obscenities in front of a group of people.

Andrew S. Jones, 41, who is homeless, was arrested Oct. 24 on a warrant from Fulton City Court alleging criminal contempt, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Police allege that on Oct. 1, at an address on N. Sixth St., Jones hit a woman in the face during an argument, causing bleeding from her nose and lip, all in the presence of two children and in alleged violation of an order of protection.

Bryan A. Cox, 43, of 360 Park Ave., Fulton was charged Oct. 25 with an open container violation for allegedly having an open can of Milwaukee’s Best Ice while on a city street.

Terry J. Pickard, 34, of 80 Engles Rd., Oswego was arrested Oct. 25 on a warrant from Fulton City Court alleging failure to cooperate with pre-trial release.

Rene Santos, 26, of 1100 Emery St., Apt. D1, Fulton was charged Oct. 25 with disorderly conduct and marijuana possession for allegedly yelling derogatory language while outside of his home and failing to stop when told to do so. Police allege they found marijuana and a pipe on him when he was arrested.

Stephen I. Gifford, 29, of 710 Erie St., Fulton was arrested Oct. 26 on a warrant from Hannibal Town Court alleging failure to appear for a work detail.

Justin R. Hoey, 36, of 776 Crofton Circle, Reynoldsburg, Ohio was charged Oct. 26 with marijuana possession for allegedly having two glass pipes with marijuana residue in his jacket pocket.

Devon S. Blackmar, 17, of 215 Utica St., Fulton was arrested Oct. 26 on a bench warrant from Fulton City Court alleging failure to cooperate with pre-trial release on charged of criminal contempt and harassment, and on a separate bench warrant alleging failure to cooperate with pre-trial release on a charge of petit larceny.

Gregory T. Ramacus, 32, o 218 Rochester St., Fulton was arrested Oct. 26 on a bench warrant alleging failure to appear in Fulton City Court as ordered.

Delbert J. Smith, 26, of 367 S. Third St., Fulton was arrest Oct. 26 on a warrant from Oswego County Court alleging failure to pay restitution on a conviction of reckless endangerment.

Scott J. Mahle, Jr., 30, of 367 S. Third St., Fulton was charged Oct. 26 with marijuana possession for having a container of a substance alleged to be marijuana in one pocket, a baggy of a substance alleged to be marijuana and a digital scale on another pocket and a pipe with residue alleged to be marijuana in a third pocket.

Chad N. Towle, 26, of 828 Holly Dr., Apr. C30 was charged Oct. 27 with endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful imprisonment and harassment. Police allege that during a domestic dispute, Towle grabbed a woman by the arm, causing a bruise, by the wrist, causing blood blisters, and as she tried to flee, by the abdomen, causing a bruise. Police allege Towle’s 3 year old son heard the fight and hid because he was scared. He was also charged with criminal contempt for allegedly violating an order of protection.

Raymond P. Gomes, 23, of 148 Bridge St., Oswego was arrested Oct. 27 on a bench warrant from Fulton City Court alleging failure to appear in court, failure to pay a $395 fine and surcharge and failure to comply with a conditional discharge or probation regarding an ignition interlock.

Frank A. Capozzi, 21, of 256 W. Fourth St. S., Fulton was charged Oct. 27 with harassment for allegedly punching a person in the shoulder.

Joshua M. Holmes, 25, of 787 County Route 7, Hannibal was charged Oct. 26 with aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator and marijuana possession after a traffic stop in the 700 block of W. Broadway revealed eight alleged license suspensions on five dates, a license that expired in 2009 and a bag of a substance alleged to be marijuana in the driver side door.

Gary K. Finley, 21, of 828 Holly Dr., Apt. C34, Fulton was charged Oct. 28 with DWI, DWI with a blood alcohol count above 0.08%, failing to keep right, passing a red light and operating in violation of restrictions. Police report an officer stopped Finley’s vehicle after it allegedly crossed the center line, then ran a red light at E. Broadway and S. Second St. He allegedly failed three field sobriety tests and a breath test allegedly confirmed the presence of alcohol at above legal limits.

Daniel L. Garcia, 23, of 615 W. Fourth St., Fulton was arrested Oct. 28 on a bench warrant from Oswego City Court alleging failure to pay a fine.

Jason A. Turner, 35, of 3194 County Route 176, Oswego was charged Oct. 28 with assault for allegedly punching a man in the face hard enough to cause a half-inch cut that required medical treatment during a fight at 324 W. Broadway.

Charlene E. Delaney, 22, of 202 S. Third St., Fulton was charged Oct. 23 with disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling derogatory language in a loud voice.

The Meaning of Memorial Day

The theme for this year’s Memorial Day Salute Parade is “America, United We Stand.”
Many area individuals, organizations, businesses and industries will try to develop their interpretation of this theme in the vehicles or floats they will enter in the parade on Saturday.   The Fulton Memorial Day Salute is a two-day event that is 32 years old this year, started and carried on by the four Fulton Service Clubs.

Snow Travelers Support to CYO

Members of the Fulton Area Snow Travelers club present program coordinator George Timmins with a donation of sporting goods for the CYO program. From left are: Mike Schmidt, Bill Monette, Timmins, Tracey Doyle and Ken Wheelock.Catholic Charities was one of several organizations that benefited from the Great Eastern Whiteout, the club’s annual vintage snowmobile show and race held at the Fulton War Memorial.  Established in 2000 in Sandy Creek the event relocated to Fulton in 2010 and draws more than 400 snowmobiles each year.
