Rotarians Hear About Services To Aid Families

FULTON, NY – Meredith Needham, director of Services To Aid Families at Oswego County Opportunities, recently spoke to the Fulton Rotary Club about the programs she supervises for OCO.

Services to Families covers nine areas of support for families of domestic violence and sex abuse.

When you call the Oswego County Hot Line at 342-1600, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, you will get answers and/or help on your questions of domestic violence and sexual abuse.

Needham oversees counseling programs, sexual assault programs, domestic violence programs, victim support programs, child protection and family abuse programs, works with the New York State Crime victims board, the safe house for women and children being abused, and prevention and education programs.

Nationwide, as many as 1 in 4 men and women are abused by a family member.

Services To Aid Families meets the needs of this population in Oswego County.
