Twelve SUNY Oswego students received Empire State Diversity Honors Scholarships this year. The State University of New York scholarship is direct aid to attract and retain undergraduate students from a broad range of backgrounds who have demonstrated high academic achievement and contribute to the diversity of the student body.

Jessica Naioti had trouble finding childcare for her 2 ½ year old son, Benjamin. Seeing this need for drop-in childcare in Oswego County, as well as a place for teens to hang out inspired the idea for Sunshine Community and Childcare Center, located on Schuyler Street in the former Red’s Videos storefront.
