Granby Elementary School Family Craft Night

The Granby Elementary School Parent-Teacher Group hosted a Family Craft Night on December 7 for students and their family members. Guests enjoyed the sounds of the season while handcrafting a variety of decorations and holiday ornaments. Granby third grade student Riley Thompson made a snow globe ornament with his mom Traci at the event.

Granby Elementary School kindergarten student Hailey Payment and her mom, Bobbie Jo Kimball create a beautiful and tasty treat at the school’s annual Family Craft Night. A cookie decorating station was one of the fun activities that students could participate in at the Granby Elementary Family Craft Night. Hosted by the school’s Parent-Teacher Group, the event gave students and their parents an opportunity to create a variety of decorations and holiday ornaments.

Granby Elementary School third grade student Jaden Harrington and her mom Lisa work on a coloring project together at the school’s recent Family Craft Night. The Granby Parent-Teacher Group sponsors this annual event at the school, giving students and their family members an opportunity make a variety of handcrafted holiday decorations and ornaments.

Doreen Clark promoted at United Way

Melanie Trexler, executive director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County, has announced that Doreen Clark has been promoted to director of finance.
Clark, who has worked in the accounting field for more than 20 years, joined the United Way staff in 2011 as finance manager.
