Fulton PD: Week of Dec. 3, 2012

Lee A. Johnson, Jr., 35, of 313 Erie St., Apt. 2, Fulton was charged Dec. 3 with rape, menacing, harassment and unlawful imprisonment. Police allege that on July 30, at various places in the city, he punched a woman in the head, grabbed her by the throat, threw her on the ground and grabbed her by the hair. According to police, he would not let her leave and eventually forced her to have sex by slapping her in the head, dragging her by her feet and forcibly removing her pants and underwear. Police allege the woman suffered injuries from the intercourse.

Ronald H. Horn, Jr., 19, of 393 Rathburn Rd., Hannibal was arrested Dec. 3 on a warrant alleging failure to appear as ordered in Fulton City Court.

Edward J. Elsner, 38, of 48 W. Third St., Oswego was charged Dec. 3 with reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child, harassment and disorderly conduct. Police allege he punched the arm of a woman several times as she was trying to drive a car on S. Second St. Police allege the punches caused her arm to slip off the steering wheel, with the car driving off the road and into a utility police, all with a one year old child in the back seat. He was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling after being warned by a police officer to stop.

Ernest P. Ferro, 40, of 256 W. Second St., Apt. 1, Fulton was charged Dec. 3 with theft of services for taking a taxi ride from Scriba to his home and allegedly refusing to pay the $16 fare.

Anthony D. Terramiggi, Sr., 32, of 410 Worth St. was charged Dec. 5 with petit larceny for allegedly stealing 7 bundles of firewood on August 20. At the same time, he was charged with tampering with physical evidence, three counts of unlawful surveillance in the second degree, petit larceny, and menacing in the third degree. Police allege he used a cell phone to take video of three people getting out of the shower at his home several times from September 2011 to June 2012 without their knowledge and allegedly destroyed the evidence by chewing the phone’s digital storage card to pieces.

Ryan H. Clark, 32, of 407 Voorhees St., Fulton was charged Dec. 6 with criminal contempt for allegedly violating an order to stay away from a particular person and with endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly smoking marijuana in a home which a three year old child.

A 16 year old from Fulton was charged Dec. 7 with disorderly conduct after allegedly trying to start a fight with another student at the high school.

Bryan S. Coulter, 23, of 501 Phinney Rd., Hannibal was charged Dec. 9 with criminal contempt and harassment for allegedly punching a person in the back of the head several times, and for allegedly violating a court order to stay away from the person.

Hope A. Whitby, 21. of 209 W. First St. S., Fulton was charged Dec. 9 with harassment and disorderly conduct for allegedly hitting a man several time in the face and head.

Joshua R. Jay, 23, of 209 W. First St. S. Fulton was charged Dec. 9 with harassment and disorderly conduct for allegedly grabbing a woman by the back of the hair and pulling her backwards.

Shawn D. Merrill, 20, of 608 Rochester St., Fulton was charged with criminal possession of stolen property Dec. 9 for allegedly having five video games stolen from a person.

Cause Sought For Granby Fire

Authorities are searching for the cause of Thursday’s fire in Granby. Multiple fire departments responded to the fire on County Route 8 near Cedarwood Drive shortly after 5 p.m. There were no reports of any injuries.

OFD, Animal Control Rescue Stranded Deer

OFD helped rescue a deer Thursday afternoon.On Thursday, the Oswego Fire Department units along with Animal Control personnel responded to a report of a deer stranded on the rock wall in the center of the river. Fire Department personnel responded in the fire/rescue boat and carefully eased the deer to shore to awaiting animal control personnel.

Donations Sought for 2013 APW Stuff-A-Bus

The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District Transportation Department, in conjunction with the United Way of Greater Oswego County, is once again gearing up for the Stuff-A-Bus Program. 2013 will mark the 10th year of the annual Stuff-A-Bus school supply drive at APW and is a combined school and community effort to ensure that every student is prepared for school.
