Elmira College Students Named to Dean’s List for Academic Achievement for Fall 2012

ELMIRA, NY – Elmira College has released its Dean’s List for Academic Acievement for the Fall 2012 Term. The Dean’s List recognizes students that have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

Elizabeth Nielsen ’14 of Oswego is majoring in Mathematics and Chemistry.

David Simons ’15 of Oswego is majoring in Psychology and Business Administration.

Emily Warchol ’14 of Pulaski is majoring in International Studies.

Dylan Zink ’14 of Cato is majoring in English Literature.

Barclay: It Is Time To Put More Teeth Into Assembly’s Ethics Committee After Latest Public Scandal

Assemblyman Will Barclay said today the ethic’s oversight in the state Assembly is inadequate and needs to be reformed in order to protect the public’s interest, not political interest. Traffic Safety Appreciation Award Presented

Mr. Dana Oliver, EMT with Menter Ambulance, received a Traffic Safety Appreciation Award from BC Brady, of the Oswego County Traffic Safety Board. Oliver learned that the Child Passenger Trailer needed a part and generously donated one to help keep the program moving and children riding as safely as possible.
