Sabrina Louise Worden
Sabrina Louise Worden was born in Oswego Hospital on Feb. 1, 2013.
She weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.
She is the daughter of Michelle Mauro and Christopher Worden, of Oswego.
Gary Mix has been appointed as the Oswego City School District Interim Superintendent of Schools. On Tuesday night, the Oswego City School District Board of Education unanimously approved the appointment. Mix will commence his duties in the Oswego City School District on Tuesday, July 2. The board will pay Mix $2,400 per week during the months of July and August and $3,000 per week during the months of September through December.
Leslie F. Corey, 81, of Phoenix, NY, passed away Sunday June 9, 2013.
On July 1, the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, Oswego Town Historian George R. DeMass will officiate at a wreath-laying ceremony at the Oswego County 147th monument in Gettysburg. The 147th New York volunteers, Oswego County’s own, was heavily engaged in the three-day battle.

Dolores L. Schmidtmann, 83, former Horseshoe Island Road, Clay, NY, passed away on Monday June 17, 2013.
