HANNIBAL, NY – Tom Colon, 52 of Fair Haven, passed away on Monday February 11, 2013, to be with our Heavenly Father, after an extended illness.

Tom was born on August 26, 1960, to the late, Pedro and Susan Bigler Colon in Dunkirk, NY.

Tom is survived by his longtime companion, Cindy Wood; his faithful friend, O.P.; step-children, Dennis Grimm and Carrie Pellegrino; eight loving siblings, Tee, Pam, Karen, Peggy, Sandra, Mary, Rusty and Danny; special friends, Craig and Krazzy Krissy Searle, Ross Shaffer, Jay Feeney and many more; several nieces and nephews.

At Tom’s request, there will be no calling hours or services.

Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 1130 Corporate Dr., Auburn, NY 13021.

Former Fulton Man Charged with Disorderly Conduct in Providence R.I.

According to authorities in Providence, R.I., a Fulton man is somehow involved in an assault that left a college basketball player hospitalized in critical condition. Around 2:23 a.m. on May 12, Joseph Sharkey, a Brown University basketball player was punched in the head, leaving him seriously injured. Sharkey fractured his skull on the concrete and was taken to a Rhode Island hospital. A Connecticut man was charged with the assault. Dillon James “DJ” Ingham of Fulton was charged with one count of disorderly conduct related to the incident.
