Two Women Facing Methamphetamine charges

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego County Sheriff’s Office has charged two women in connection with the manufacture of Methamphetamine.

On April 16 at 2:04 p.m., Amanda J. Smith, 34, of 1219 CR 85, Apt. B, Hannibal, was arrested for Criminal Possession of Precursors of Methamphetamine, a class E felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor and Trespass.

The arrest stems from the investigation into an unrelated incident and a vehicle search in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart in the town of Granby that reportedly produced one gallon plastic jug of muriatic acid, a small plastic jug of drain cleaning substance, and a 40-pound bag of rock salt from the trunk of the vehicle.

Stemming from the same investigation, Allison M. Plumley, 37, of 14 Country Lane, Fulton, was arrested for Criminal Possession of Precursors of Methamphetamine and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Ms. Smith and Ms. Plumley were arraigned in the Town of Granby Court by Hon. Judge Wells and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $10,000/$20,000 for Ms. Smith and $1,500/$3,000 for Ms. Plumley.

They are to return to court on April 22.

During the investigation, Ms. Smith was arrested for Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine, 3rd degree, a class D felony for her alleged participation in the knowledge that methamphetamine was being produced in a residence on April 4 in the town of Hannibal.

She was remanded to the OCJ with a return to Town of  Hannibal Court on April 23 for that charge. missing or outdated ad config
