Syracuse Couple Facing Drug Charges

FULTON, NY – Jerome A. Kelley, 27, Syracuse, and Deanna S. Maynard, 24, of Syracuse were arrested Friday following an investigation conducted by the City of Fulton Police Department and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team.

The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant in the 800 block of South Fourth Street (Route 481) of Kelley’s person and the vehicle he was found to operate. During the execution of the search warrant 1.4 grams of crack cocaine were recovered along with a small amount of marihuana.

Kelley was charged with the following:

  • third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class-B felony
  • third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class-B felony
  • fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class-D felony
  • second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, a class-A misdemeanor

Maynard was charged with the following:

  • third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class-B felony
  • fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class-D felony
  • unlawful possession of marihuana, a violation

Kelley was arraigned in Fulton City Court by Hon. Jerome Mirabito and remanded to the Oswego County Public Safety Center in lieu of $20,000 bail and is scheduled to return to court Nov. 19.

Maynard was arraigned in Fulton City Court by Hon. Jerome Mirabito and released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to return to court Dec. 3.
