State Police Arrests & Accidents, July 12-13, 2009

roopers charged Joseph R. Young, 16, of Lacona with a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief for an incident reported in Lacona at 7:00 p.m. on July 11. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Troopers investigated a one-vehicle accident on County Route 22 in Sandy Creek at 2:30 a.m. on July 12.  Driver Andrew K. Wheeler, 29, of Altmar, was uninjured.  No ticket was issued and the investigation was closed.

Ashley M. Parody, 19, of Pulaski and Joshua D. Wielt, 21, of Pulaski were each charged with a misdemeanor count of assault for an incident reported at 1:34 p.m. on July 12.

Joseph R. Young, 16, of Lacona and Wyatt J. Wells, 16, of Sandy Creek were arrested on July 12.  Young was charged with a misdemeanor count of making graffiti and two misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief, while Wells was charged with making graffiti and filing a false statement for three incidents reported that day in Sandy Creek and Lacona.  They were held for arraignment.

No injuries were reported in a two vehicle accident on Route 11 in Hastings at 7:22 p.m. on July 12.  The drivers were James A. Swan, 28, of Hastings and Kimberly S. Massaro, 43, of Central Square.  The investigation was closed.

Tiffany L. Mossow, 26, of Hastings was charged with two misdemeanor counts related to first-offense driving while intoxicated.  She was arrested at 12:32 a.m. on Route 49 in Hastings and released on an appearance ticket.

Chasity A. Hudson, 31, of Fulton was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and criminal contempt for an incident first reported at 11:00 a.m. July 12 in Hastings. She was ordered held for arraignment.

One injury was reported in an accident at 1:30 p.m. on Fulton St. in the town of Hannibal on July 12.  William J. Shoults, 38, of Oswego and B. J. Gardner-Viola, 36, of Fulton were the drivers.

No one was injured in a one vehicle crash on County Route 21 in the town of Hannibal at 5:25 a.m. July 13.  David J. Rice, 63, of Martville was the driver.
