  1. We definantly need the Public Health Option. This will insure that the large Insurance Companys don’t charge an Arm & a Leg for Health Care. Prices are all to High and we can agree on that. The more choices we have the Less it will cost. Please Call your Representatives now while it’s not to Late. They are debating now whether to include it in the Bill. So please support it by calling and ask them to support the Public Health Option.
    Thank-You All

  2. The only people who are in need of help with medical insurance, are those who have been laid off, or those whose employers cannot afford to provide the insurance. Everyone else is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and any supplimental insurance one can afford. NO ONE is turned away from an emergency room–if treatment is needed!!! Not even illegals.

This does NOT require a 2000 page document that NO ONE is going to read, nor one that has every little request of our representatives tucked in so no one can see it!!

If they really want to cut costs———-prevent those on assistance from calling an ambulance for NON_EMERGENCY transportation to Oswego and Syracuse. An earache, broken toe or sprained ankle does NOT require a transport by ambulance, costing the taxpayer thousands of dollars!!!!

If our government can find ways to reduce benefits to senior citizens, the ones who are REALLY in need and vulnerable, don’t you think it is time to reduce the abuse of the Medicaid reciipients???

  3. I think something needs to be done. Health care is something we all need, but way to many hard-working people have none. If they get hurt, we all pay anyway.

High costs make buying independent insurance way to expensive, especially if you have a family. Most small businesses would have to raise their prices if they want to pay for health insurance for their employees. Government workers, thanks to our taxes, have decent coverage.

A public option couldn’t be any worse than the system we have now.

  4. Obama and the democrats want to bankrupt our country and turn our life in socialist society. If we let this happen WE THE PEOPLE have lost our freedom.

  5. Health care can and should be overhauled with tort reform and greater portability. Letting buisnesses and individuals cross state lines to purchase health care policies will increase compitition and lower costs. We cannot allow the ultra-liberal wing which currently holds the executive branch to wrestle another 18% of our economy from the private sector to go along with the 30% siezed last spring by stealing the banks and auto industry from private hands. That’s 48% of our economy held by the liberal arm of the democratic party. That is who every American will have to negotiate with for their very survival. If you need a loan you’ll have to appease the liberals. If you become ill you’ll have to appease the liberals. If you want a job… We will lose our free market economy in favor of socialism and we will be taxed beyond belief to pay for this public option plan. Wouldn’t it be smarter to instead of raising taxes on small business{ the evil millionaires } who will in turn go out of business or downsiize resulting in more lay-offs, get behind the hard working small business men and woman who create jobs and further our economy. We can’t tax these people into oblivion. They are our employers and future employers. I guess I’ve been a free citizen of the U.S. too long. I don’t want to be communist like the Obama administration leads us towards.

  6. The government says it plans to pay for it with stopping the abuse and fraud. Why are they waiting, shouldn’t they already be doing that? Name me just one project the government has been involved in that hasn’t been underbid, massive over-runs, and curruption. Letting the government run health care would be like letting a child rapist teach elementary school. If the government is concern about health care, then fix the economy, stop the blame game and get Americans back to work. Where they can get health care insurance, pay down the national debt, and maybe save this country from the bankruptcy we are heading for.

  7. Government cannot run anything without fraud and abuse. There present bill doesnot address the waste and congress get a kickback from the overcharges. They refuse tort reform as they would lose money as most are attorneys. Greed and corruption is well in congress. With this congress and Obama the USA is on the verge of failing, I mean total destruction into a socialist society. It maybe hard to think of our country becoming extinct, open eyes and read before its too late.
