James D. Dailey

James D. Dailey, 88, of Fulton, died Friday, October 30th at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.

A native of Pittsburgh, OK, he resided in Cape Coral, FL for many years prior to moving to Fulton six months ago. James retired as a typesetter for Ft. Myers News Press. He helped establish the Neighborhood Watch in Cape Coral and volunteered for the Cape Coral Police Department. James was predeceased by his wife of 27 years, Eunice Darling Dailey, who died October 1, 2009.

Surviving are: three children, Gail (Darrell Jarvis) Dailey, Jim (Jan) Dailey and Ladie (Rosiland) Dailey; seven stepchildren, Mary Atkins, Joyce (John) Rowland, Loren (Kathy) Darling, Theresa (Jack) Wright, Susan (Don) Ryan, Robert Darling and David (Shari) Darling; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services were private and there will be no calling hours. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has charge of arrangements.
