OSWEGO – Oswego Health’s two board-certified otolaryngologists will discuss one of their most common patient complaints during an upcoming Ask The Doctor Program.
Nicholas Groch, DO, and Melanie Groch, DO, of Lakeshore ENT, will discuss chronic coughs at 6 p.m. on March 21 in the riverside room of GS Steamers in Oswego.
“We find in our practice that we treat many residents who are suffering from chronic coughs, which can be a result of allergies, sinus problems, and asthma,” said Dr. Nicholas Groch.
The two otolaryngologists have a joint practice providing a wide range of services including allergy testing, sinus surgery, pediatric ear infections, snoring and sleep apnea, skin cancer excisions and cosmetic procedures.
Both physicians are board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Otolaryngology head and neck/facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Nicholas Groch earned his bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University.
His internship and residency in otolaryngology/facial plastic surgery were both completed at Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital in Warren, Mich.
Dr. Melanie Groch earned her bachelor’s degree, as well as her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University.
The East Lansing based-college is where she also completed her internship.
Dr. Groch fulfilled her residency in otolaryngology head and neck/facial plastic surgery at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, Mich.
The physicians have an office in suite 210 of the Oswego Health Services Center, which is adjacent Oswego Hospital.
