FULTON, NY – Barbara A. Lyon, 77, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Oswego Hospital.
She was born in 1941, in Fulton, a daughter to the late Calvin and Ruth Clark Austin.
Barb loved gardening, flowers, helping others and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Lyon; and sister, Alice Austin.
Surviving are her three children, Kelly Lyon of Hastings, Amy (Marty) DuMont of Volney and Calvin (Gayl) Lyon of Utica; eight grandchildren, Derek, Tia, James, Crystal (Joe) Cox, Connie (Dan) Chrisman, Matt, Martin Jr., and Sydney; 14 great-grandchildren; as well several nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours will be held 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday, March 25, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Volney, in the Spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your charity of choice in Barb’s memory.

So sorry for your loss. Barbara was a dear friend of mine all through school and then we got busy with our lives and lost track of each other. She was a very sweet person, rest in peace Barb.
