OSWEGO – The Oswego County Legislature’s Health Committee presented a proclamation to members of the Oswego County Health Department recognizing National Infant Immunization Week scheduled for April 27 to May 4.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the designation which emphasizes the importance of protecting infants from over a dozen serious and preventable diseases, as well as the critical role that vaccinations play in protecting children, communities, and public health.
The Oswego County Health Department holds immunization clinics from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. every Tuesday at the Nick Sterio Public Health Clinic at 70 Bunner St., Oswego, and by appointment on the third Tuesday of the month at the H. Douglas Barclay Courthouse on Broad Street in Pulaski.
