OSWEGO – The Oswego Children’s Theater will host auditions for the 2019 Harborfest children’s musical the beloved classic “The Wizard of Oz” on April 28 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Roy C. McCrobie Civic Center Building at 41 Lake St.
All area children K-12 are welcome to audition for the show.
There are 30 speaking roles available as well as Munchkins, Ozians, Winkies, Flying Monkees, Jitterbugs, Poppies, Snowflakes and many more.
Those wishing to audition should come prepared to sing a song of their choice which could be as simple as “Happy Birthday” or “My Country Tis of Thee.”
They may also be asked to read from the script.
This year’s Harborfest production will once again be directed by Lyndsie Lee and Kenneth C. Jones.
