MINETTO – The Minetto Clean Sweep volunteers spent the day cleaning up the town recently.
There will be an Earth Week and Clean Sweep project at Great Bear this Saturday and Sunday.
In conjunction with Canal Clean Sweep and Oswego County Earth Week, the Minetto Beautification Committee continued with its thirteenth year doing a spring clean up of the River View Park and a litter pick up along the Oswego River and Canal.
Members groomed the park trimming shrubs and clearing leaves.
New growth for the season ahead was growing.
The group is looking forward to its community enjoying River View Park for its waterfront and beauty, said volunteer Dick Drosse.
