On 11/14/09 at 11:46 p.m., Erin E. Samson, 20, of 110 West 7th, Oswego, NY was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a MV, 3rd degree( suspended for failure to answer summons in C/O Oswego on 7/17/09) and Inadequate Plate Lamp following a traffic stop on CR 8 in the Town of Granby. Ms. Samson was issued UTT’s, returnable to the Town of Granby Court on 12/7/09.

On 11/16/09 at 7:59 a.m., Karen L. Metz, 52, of 3364 CR 176, Oswego, NY was operating a 2001 Chrysler north on CR 176 in the Town of Scriba when she reportedly swerved to avoid something in the roadway causing her to exit the west side of the road, travel through the yard of 3431 CR 176 and strike a tree then overturn before coming to rest on its roof. Ms. Metz was transported by helicopter to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. An outside car distraction seems to have been a contributing factor.

The Fulton District Wide Storytelling Festival was held and storytellers from throughout the district showcased their talents in telling a wide variety of stories.
