Paul A. Hartung, 68

Paul A. Hartung, 68 and a resident of 2 New St. in the Town of Oswego died Saturday at University Hospital.

He was born in Utica and was the son of the late S.E. and Mary Owens Hartung. He had been employed on various local construction projects and was a member of Laborers Local 214, he was also a retired auditor with New York State. Mr. Hartung was an avid fan of college football. He was a Communicant of St. Mary’s Church and he was an Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of Mohawk Valley Community College and Alfred University where he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi.

He is survived by two brothers Joseph Hartung of Arizona, John Hartung of Pulaski, two sisters, Mary Lou Hengeveld and Ann (Jim) Whelan both of Mass., two nieces Meghan Whealan, Robbin Hartung and one nephew Josh Hartung.

Funeral services will be 8:30AM Wed. from the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and at 9:00AM in St. Mary’s Church. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 5-7PM at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church 103 West Seventh St. Oswego or Oswego County Office for the Aging 70 Bunner St. Oswego, NY 13126
