Supporting United Way Brings Rewards

OSWEGO, NY – The United Way of Greater Oswego County is pleased to announce the winners of the drawing for incentive prizes.

In an effort to increase support for its 2009 / 2010 Annual Campaign and create additional excitement for in-house employee campaigns, the United Way offered special prizes as an incentive for supporting the campaign.

Resource development director for the United Way Lois Luber said, “At the suggestion of our Campaign Cabinet, we once again partnered with a number of area business to offer our supporters the opportunity to win some great prizes. Those pledging a minimum donation of $1 per week for one year to the United Way’s 2009 / 2010 Campaign were automatically entered into the drawings. You could also register for the prize drawing on our website. The incentives were a nice way for us to do something extra for our donors and helped to increase participation in company campaigns.”

A Ladies Watch from DuFore’s for Diamonds, valued at $250 – David Cloonan

Gift Certificates to Bosco & Geers – Shawn Bailey, Lori Bateman, Michelle Rudy, Sandra Downs and Judy Paninski

Gift Card to Canale’s Restaurant – Melvin Hansen, Mrs. Frank Sayer, Mark Caltibiano, Matt DeStevens, Kathryn Shaver and James Brown

Gift Card to Burke’s Home Centers – Joe Pagano, Ken Johnson, Tom Tracy, Michael Reno and Deborah Colloca

Gas Cards from Stewart’s Shops – Charry Snyder, Marlea Munger, Monica Seeley, Jason McDermott and Alexander Sterio

Gift Card to Stability Fitness – Kimberllie Furlong, Daniel France, Joe Lawton, Lawrence Dawson, Eric Kelsey and Jason Roy

Tickets to the Syracuse Chiefs Baseball Club – Scott Colbert, Charles Yablonski, Melissa Lamb, David Deeb, Ken Geary, Cindy Casellman and Benjamin Horton

“We congratulate the winners and are happy to have been able to offer these prizes to our donors.
