OSWEGO, NY – Excitement is building over the Oswego appearance of “Three Cups of Tea” author and humanitarian Greg Mortenson.

An information booth, run by local book club members, will be set up each week at the Oswego Farmers’ Market in front of river’s end book store.

Stop by and fill out a free raffle ticket for a chance to win two tickets to attend Mortenson’s appearance on Oct. 28.

Recently, Brian Kocher (right) of Oswego Printing donated a large banner which will be used to promote Oswego’s first community read.

Gathering for the unveiling on the banner are (in front) Braeden DePoint and Bailey DePoint.

Tickets for the Oct. 28 event go on sale July 12 and will be available the Oswego Reads website www.oswegoreads.com
