Woman Injured As Car Careens Across City Park

A woman was airlifted from the scene of an accident Wednesday night in Fulton.
Fulton Police say 36 year old Tammy Emeterio’s car hit the back of a vehicle driven by 58 year old Leslie Kistner near the intersection of S. 4th St. and Academy St.
Police did not provide addresses for either driver.
Emeterio’s car then drove off the road into Voorhees Park. Her car drove nearly the entire diagonal length of the park, stopping when it it a large tree in the northwest corner of the park. The car’s path took it within feet of the playground at the park.
Emeterio was flown by helicopter to University Hospital in Syracuse, where police say she’s in stable condition. Kistner was not injured.
