Mexico Man Accused of Having Sex with a Child

A Mexico man is accused of having had sex with a child.

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Department alleges that David D. Duell Jr., 42, of Gillette Rd., Mexico had sexual contact with a child younger than age 11.

Police allege the contact happened during the months of May, June and July at a residence in Hastings.

He was charged with a felony count of sex abuse and a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Scriba Town Justice Adkins sent Duell to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail.  He is due back in town court Wednesday unless his case is waived to county court by then.
