Pledge, Tribute Cards On Display

OSWEGO, NY – Representatives from the Rural Health Network of Oswego County, the Tobacco Free Network of Oswego County and the Oswego County Health Department display some of the hundreds of pledge cards and tribute cards that community members signed as their pledge to quit tobacco use, or honor a loved one who was affected as the result of tobacco use.

The cards, which were designed by the Tobacco Free Network of Oswego County, were available at each of the many presentations that the coalition gave during their How Does Tobacco Look on You? campaign.

Launched in May the campaign is an effort to decrease point of sale advertising and to raise awareness of tobacco advertising and promotional materials aimed at the target population of women between the ages of 14 to 24.
