Fundraiser To benefit Catholic Charities’ Food Pantry, Youth Program

FULTON, NY – Catholic Charities of Oswego County and Ruby Tuesday restaurants have teamed for a fundraising event that will benefit Catholic Charities’ food pantry and CYO program.

On Friday and Saturday, Ruby Tuesday restaurants at 146 E. Thirteenth St. in Oswego and Route 31 in Clay will donate 20% off all food receipts to Catholic Charities of Oswego County.

Those dining simply need to mention to their server that they are dining to support Catholic Charities of Oswego County.

“In these challenging times it is paramount that we find ways to fund our programs and keep the shelves of our food pantry filled,” said Mary-Margaret Pezzella-Pekow, executive director of Catholic Charities of Oswego County.  “Our CYO program provides an array of activities and programs for youth in grades 2 through 12, including an after school program and a mentoring program. Our food pantry, which feeds hundreds of families and individuals in Oswego County, is experiencing a tremendous demand for food subsidy. This fundraiser will provide both of these programs with some much needed financial assistance.”
