The SUNY program is in its seventh year of visiting the enriched living residence, sharing crafts, playing games and participating in seasonal dances.

Every Wednesday throughout the semester, students visit in the afternoon for games of shuffle board, golf, cards, and crafts.

The group of students also have time to visit those residents who may not want to participate in the activities but still enjoy the company of the students.

After dinner in the early evening, another group of students visit the residence for bingo games and dances that are hosted each season by the activity staff.

“The students bring so much energy and enthusiasm to our activity programs,” noted Activities Assistant Peg LiVoti. “Especially our dances; both and seniors and students are learning new dance moves from each other.”
