FREDONIA, N.Y. – Oswego State senior Ian O’Brien (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) has been named the SUNYAC Men’s Lacrosse of the Week for the week ending March 26.
O’Brien helped Oswego State remain unbeaten on the season by posting wins over Utica and #18 Ithaca this past week.
Against Utica, O’Brien finished with ten saves, five of which came in the fourth quarter. On Sunday versus the Bombers, O’Brien registered 16 saves, including 10 in the second half and all three overtime periods, as Oswego State mounted a four-goal, fourth quarter comeback to send the game into extra frames.
The Lakers return to action with two home contests on Tuesday against Keuka and Friday against Brockport. Both games are scheduled for 4 p.m.
