OSWEGO, NY – Thomas C. Albertson, 23, of Camp Lejeune and 471 Hall Road, New
Milford, Pa., was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon Sunday morning at SUNY Oswego.
University Police observed his unlocked pickup truck with the back window partly open and a weapon visible inside at about 7:30 a.m. in Lot 11 on campus.
Officers located him in a campus residence hall where he was visiting a friend.
He consented to a search of his truck which produced an M4 rifle, two handguns, two knives and related items, confiscated by police.
He was arraigned in Oswego Town Court and remanded to Oswego County Jail in lieu of bail $1,500 cash or $2,500 bond.
He is to reappear in court today (April 9).
