Austin Richards Named to Spring 2012 President’s List at LeTourneau University

LONGVIEW, TEXAS – Austin Richards of Fulton, was named to the Spring 2012 President’s List at LeTourneau University.

Richards achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average to receive this honor.

LeTourneau University Associate Provost and Dean of Faculty Dr. Steven D. Mason said being named to the President’s List is a significant academic achievement and honor.”

“The rigorous curriculum and high academic standards at LeTourneau University are highly respected throughout our country and beyond,” Mason said. “LeTourneau University is well known for its quality education. To obtain a perfect grade point average for academic performance is, indeed, very impressive.”

LeTourneau University is an interdenominational Christ-centered university located in Longview, Texas, offering academic majors in aviation, business, criminal justice, education, engineering, health science-nursing, human services, liberal arts, science and psychology.

Barclay Meets with Local Town Leaders

St. Luke Adult Day Health Care Program Hosts Blood Drive

The St. Luke Adult Day Health Care program continues to celebrate the program’s twentieth year of service to the Oswego County community through its “Twenty Acts of Kindness” event. Over the course of the year, registrants will undertake a variety of activities in support of other community organizations and initiatives as a way to say “thank you” for the support the St. Luke ADHC Program has received since opening in 1993.

Public Meeting on Drafting Eastern Lake Ontario Unit Management Plan to be Held June 5

A public meeting will be held on June 5 to help draft the Eastern Lake Ontario Unit Management Plan, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation announced. The meeting sessions will be held at the DEC’s Salmon River Fish Hatchery, 2133 County Route 22, Altmar, from 10 a.m. to noon, 2 to 4 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Oswego County Autism Task Force to Host Parent Seminar
