Jamboree to Benefit Children with Special Needs

OSWEGO – Tickets are still available for the 11th Annual Jamboree Fundraiser to benefit Parents of Special Children, Inc.

The event will be held on June 10, from noon until 4 p.m. at the Scriba Fire Department.

The family event, which will include spaghetti dinner, live entertainment by Bloodline, door prizes, 50/50 raffles, and children’s activities, is organized by the Parents of Special Children staff and board members.

Parents of Special Children is a 24-year-old not-for-profit community agency that provides supportive services to families raising children and adults with disabilities.

Services include respite care, caregiver reimbursement; assistance with special requests, advocacy.

The agency is also host to a local group of parents of children with Autism called Connections.

The agency is supported by the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.

Advance sale tickets can purchased for $10 each by calling the Parents of Special Children Inc. office at 598-7672.

Dine in or take out is available.
