John P. ‘Bergie’ Bergman Jr., 71

FULTON, NY – John P. “Bergie” Bergman Jr., 71, of Fulton, passed away Sunday July 22, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.

Bergie was a life resident of Fulton and had retired from Kenwell after more than 20 years.

He enjoyed being outdoors and bowling.

Bergie is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sandy of Fulton; seven children, Randall (Cheryl) of Parish, Maria (Ward) Nickless of California, Maribeth (Kevin) Ceratt of Red Creek, Tammy (Tom) Blake of Arizona, Chuck (Tiffine) Hollenbeck  Jr. of Granby, Tony (Fran Richardson) Hollenbeck of Arizona and Cricket (Todd) Scott of Hannibal; siblings, Betty, Tom, Mike, Ron, Danny and Patty; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Seventh Street, Fulton.

There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation of CNY, 731 James St., Suite 200, Syracuse, NY 13203.

  2. John was my cousin, whom I loved dearly . I remember me being the snotty nosed kid tagging along behind him, he couldn’t get rid of me > I will miss him . My thoughts and prayers are with his family
