Jack L. ‘Jack Rabbit Farm’ Wright Sr., 57

PHOENIX, NY – Jack  L. “Jack Rabbit Farm” Wright Sr., 57, of County Route 57, Fulton, passed away at his home with his loving family by his side on Sunday August 26, 2012.

He was born to his parents, Norma G. (Niles) and Francis E. Wright on May 13, 1955.

He graduated J.C. Birdlebough High School, class of 1973, Phoenix.

He furthered his studies.

He was a panel fitter for Black Clawson Davis Standard Co., Fulton, for 38 years.

Jack was a union representative United Steel Workers for 35 years.

He was a volunteer fire fighter for the town of Granby and enjoyed Quarter Midget Racing.

Jack was predeceased by his mother, Norma G. (Niles) Wright, on August 19, 1994.

Surviving are his loving wife, Theresa M. Darling Wright; four children, Mary Wright of Fulton, Jack L. (Jody) Wright Jr. of Fulton, Jeremy (Rachel) Wright of Fulton and Nathanael (Christine) Darling of Phoenix; his father, Francis E. Wright of Phoenix; three grandchildren, Jacob, Emma and Jeremy Jr.; one aunt, Fanny (Ziggy) Feuerherm of Fort Plain, NY.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.

Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Terrance E. Millbyer officiating.

Burial will be in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, 126 Chestnut St., Phoenix.
