The Fulton First United Methodist Church Men’s Club are inviting the public to their spaghetti dinner from 4 pm til sold out.  The menu consists of spaghetti, meatballs, Italian bread, orange drink, coffee, tea and dessert.  Eat-in or take out.  Handicapped accessible.

Oswego Players Reprise the Neil Simon Classic Comedy “Rumors” February 12

The Oswego Players present a reprise production Neil Simon’s Classic Comedy, “Rumors on Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13, at 8 p.m. with a matinee performance on Sunday February 14 at 2 p.m. Pictured in the photo at a recent rehearsal are cast members Matt Lamphere, Nelson Metz, Jennie Snow, and Sherrie Baker. The story of the play concerns four affluent couples who gather for a dinner party celebrating their host’s tenth wedding anniversary. So, The Players plan to allow the audience to participate in the anniversary celebration by inviting patrons to attend a wine, and cheese, party before the curtain and sampling a anniversary cake at intermission.

Stage Lights Go Up for OHS ‘Crazy For You’

The show will go on as “Crazy for You” will be presented twice this weekend at the Oswego High School Ralph M. Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts. This highly entertaining show features music of Gershwin and is performed by a very talented and capable cast of Oswego High School students.

Camp Hollis Hosts Winter Festival Feb. 16

All Oswego County youth and families are invited to the Hollis Winter Festival for sledding, snowshoeing and other outdoor activities Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Camp Hollis in the Town of Oswego. The free event is organized by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Oswego Children’s Theater’s to Present a Teen Oriented Twin Bill

This spring, The Oswego Children’s Theater will continue it’s tradition of presenting plays especially targeted for issues concerning teenagers and young adults, with their production of two one act plays, “Juvie” and “Crying Out”.

‘Crazy For You’ On Stage Feb. 5-6

The show girls and cowboys will dance their way across the stage in this year’s production of “Crazy for You.” In front are Eve Simmonds, Jane Coty, Erin McIntosh, Hannah Allen, Jessica Krauss, Mackenzie Stone-Sweeting, Julie Delles, Chandler Caroccio, Tiffany Green and Alyssa Bornheimer while in back are Ben Harrington, Cameron Caruso, Nick Williams, Natalie Emmons, John Chatterton, Matt McLaughlin, Josh Ewig, Khalil Rivera, John Samson, Jake Behr, Ruddy Rodriguez and Norman Berlin.

When the audience watches the Oswego High School production of “Crazy for You” they will delight at the acting and singing, but what won’t be considered by many theatre goers are those behind the scenes. The music of George Gershwin and lyrics of Ira Gershwin highlight this year’s production Feb. 5-6 at 7:30 p.m.

Intense rehearsals continue each day after school as the cast of “Crazy for You” prepares for the annual musical. More than 4,000 snowmobile racers, owners and spectators are expected to take part in the tenth annual Great Eastern Whiteout Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 12, 13, and 14 at the Fulton War Memorial on NYS Route 3. The vintage snowmobile show and races are hosted by the Fulton Area Snowmobile Travelers (FAST).

‘500 Clown Frankenstein’ Coming to Life at SUNY Oswego

Adrian Danzig, Paul Kalina and Molly Brennan star in "500 Clown Frankenstein," a retelling of Mary Shelley's classic tale coming to SUNY Oswego's Waterman Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2.

The Chicago Sun-Times describes “500 Clown Frankenstein” as “a work of psychic combat and power games that will have you laughing and holding your breath all at the same time.”
