Dot Publishing, Inc. is the parent company of Fulton Daily News.com and Oswego Daily News.com.

Fulton Daily News.com began in 1999 in Fulton, NY. Four friends, Don Bullard, Dave Bullard (no relation), Joe Aiello and Monica Mackenzie, were unhappy because their community lacked a daily source of news. In April, 1999, Fulton Daily News.com launched. A grand total of 37 visits were paid to the site on its first day.

A year later, they opened Oswego Daily News.com to serve the larger city just 10 minutes to the north.

As of mid-2008, the Daily News websites pull in an average of 10,000 visits a day, making them the largest all-local news organization in the county.

Our mission is simple: Cover the news and allow the community to submit its own news.

We remain one of the pioneers, one of the very first hyper-local web-only news sites in America and one of the very, very few with a professional staff of journalists to cover local news.

We update the site 24/7, whenever news breaks. We issue routine updates prior to 8am every weekday, to offer a full package of local news, and add community news, obituaries, birth announcements and more throughout the day.
