Woman Accused of Using Welfare Money to Buy Dead Husband’s Prescriptions

 Lisa Marie Senska was charged with three felonies — criminal possession of a controlled substance, grand larceny and welfare fraud.  She was also charged with a misdemeanor count of unlawful use of a public benefit card.

Police responded to a call of a disturbance at 151 W. 3rd St. S. last night, according to a news release from the department.  While there, police checked for any outstanding warrants on a person who was a guest at the home.

To have this happen by a staff member … sent tremors through my body,” the superintendent said.

Two men from Oswego — Steven Baitsell and Baubak Gholipour-Abbasi — and Vincent Ryder of Central Square were among 24 people being sought by police today as officials announced they’d cracked several drug distribution rings that were centered on the village of Solvay in Onondaga County.
