OPD Announces Burglary Arrests
The Oswego City Police Department recently made multiple arrests as the result of investigations into area burglaries. Some suspects have been arrested. Other charges are pending.
The Oswego City Police Department recently made multiple arrests as the result of investigations into area burglaries. Some suspects have been arrested. Other charges are pending.
On Thursday (Oct. 28), members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shane A. Kent, 25, of 6 Varick St., Apt. A,, Oswego, for his alleged participation in the following burglaries that took place in Oswego County during July, 2010.
On Oct. 1, Oswego City Police executed a search warrant at 145 W. VanBuren St. As a result of the investigation, Oswego Police arrested 19-year-old Amber L. Wheeler and 20-year-old Stephanie N. Burnett, both of 145 W. VanBuren St.
Typically, the burglars strike during the day when residents are at work. To find out how to better protect yourself and your property residents are encouraged to attend tonight’s neighborhood watch meeting in the library, East Second Street.
