The Oswego City Police Department recently made multiple arrests as the result of investigations into area burglaries. Some suspects have been arrested. Other charges are pending.

Oswego Man Charged In Burglaries
On Thursday (Oct. 28), members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shane A. Kent, 25, of 6 Varick St., Apt. A,, Oswego, for his alleged participation in the following burglaries that took place in Oswego County during July, 2010.

On Oct. 1, Oswego City Police executed a search warrant at 145 W. VanBuren St. As a result of the investigation, Oswego Police arrested 19-year-old Amber L. Wheeler and 20-year-old Stephanie N. Burnett, both of 145 W. VanBuren St.

Pair Charged In Connection With Burglaries
On Nov. 25, the New York State Police arrested Anthony W. Burk, 19, of 2284 County Route 37, Lot-29, West Monroe, and Sean W. Lowe, 20, of 7 Railroad St., Parish, for third-degree burglary.
