Mexico Man Arrested Following Incident Involving Mexico School District Buses
On Sunday night, August 14, at approximately 11:56 p.m., members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a suspicious incident in the Town of New Haven involving a Mexico School District bus backing out of a driveway with a young male reported to be driving it.

Centro Restructures Fares, Increases Bus Service
On Monday, March 7, 2022 Centro will introduce new fares that will reduce transit costs for most Centro bus riders; continue restoring service on various bus routes in Onondaga County; and implement minor service changes for select routes in Auburn, Fulton, Oswego, Rome and Utica.

Pair Receive State Recognition For Saving Child’s Life
Assemblyman Will Barclay presented a pair of local heroes with NYS Assembly Resolutions honoring them for their life-saving efforts in January. Lori Lawton, an Oswego City School District bus aide, and Jack Zeller, a bus driver for the district, were honored at the Transportation Center during a brief ceremony March 11 attended by dozens of their friends, family and co-workers.
