Catholic Charities of Oswego County will host “Great Tastings” on May 3 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Lake Ontario Conference Center, Oswego, said Mary Margaret Pezzella-Pekow, CCOC executive director.
Area youth looking for help with their studies are welcome to participate in the After School Program at the Fulton CYO. The After School program provides students with computer access and tutoring assistance to help them with their studies.
The two are responsible for planning activities and events for the CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation program and ensuring that all participants have an enjoyable time.
Participants in Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s CYO Summer Youth Drop-In Recreation Program joined youth from the Fulton YMCA Summer Day Camp and other area youth for a special presentation by “The Bubble Man.”
Thanks to the generosity of the Fulton YMCA, youth participating in the CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program have been able to beat the heat with a trip to the Y’s swimming pool.
Participants in Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s CYO Summer Program now have a better understanding of how to safely use the internet and avoid unpleasant experiences and unwanted attention.
Alicia Malone and her teammates captured the championship of Catholic Charities’ Inaugural CYO Rock the Rim for Youth Basketball Tournament. Held recently at the Fulton War Memorial, the event was a fundraiser for the CYO Program.
The CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program at Catholic Charities of Oswego County will begin July 5 and continue through Aug. 12. The program is offered free of charge to children ages 7 to 14 in Oswego County and is held Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Kris Joseph, along with teammates Mookie Jones and Brandon Reese, were the special guests at Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s inaugural CYO Rock the Rim for Youth Basketball Tournament held recently at the Fulton War Memorial.
