Oswego County Federal Credit Union (OCFCU), recently launched a new, redesigned web site, said Bill Carhart, OCFCU CEO.

“Our new site, www.oswegofcu.com, makes it even easier for our members to take advantage of all the products and services we offer,” Carhart said. “Visitors to the site can apply for membership and browse the products we offer with the link to our online brochure. Members can sign up for online banking, get connected to mobile banking for their smart phones, and apply for everything from mortgages and home improvement loans, to auto and student loans.

“There’s even a section on our free credit report consultation and financial makeover services. This past spring, we teamed up with Good Morning America to help save the Gunn family of Oswego more than $58,000 with a financial makeover.

“Plus our Googoplex ® link familiarizes elementary, middle and high school students with proper money management. And there is a wealth of advice and tips in our Home & Family Finance Resource Center that offers information on credit, retirement, housing, small business, insurance, saving and investing, plus many more topics.

“There’s also a link to our OCFCU Facebook page and to member discounts available from Sprint® mobile phone service. Our new site is just another example of how our members are like family.”

Founded in 1975, OCFCU is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative association, which serves more than 6,300 members from throughout Oswego County. OCFCU’s charter was revised in early 2007 so that anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Oswego County is eligible to join.
