Fairley Elementary Celebrates Veterans’ Day

Fairley Elementary School has had programs to honor and celebrate Veterans’ Day. Our programs consisted of skits and patriotic songs, but we always wondered if the students really were able to make the connections of the words and songs to the purpose and meaning of the day.

Fairley Elementary PBIS sponsored the first Family Fun Night. Students and their parents got to Zumba Dance with Brenda Wilson, play Jeopardy, make posters and design friendship bracelets.  See a gallery of photos from the event.

Hannibal’s Next Playground Will Be Different From The Current One

There will eventually be a new school and community playground at Hannibal’s Fairley Elementary School. While the final design of the playground isn’t certain yet, one thing is: “What we will have is very different from what we have now,” said Fairley principal Roseann Schoonmaker, a member of the committee pulling the new playground together.
