Fees Waived At Oswego Pool
Oswego Mayor Randy Bateman and the members of the Common Council have announced that the fees for public and family swim will be waived at the Gallagher Pool, located at Fort Ontario, for this weekend, commencing today, July 21. It will continue through Sunday, July 24, due to the extreme heat conditions. Also, the sprinklers located in Franklin Square (West Park), Kingsford Park and Oak Hill Park will be on continuously from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. during these same dates.
Oswego’s Ice Fee To Go Under The Microscope
The Oswego Minor Hockey Association lost money last season. With rising costs for ice time at the city rinks, officials say it is becoming more and more difficult to keep the organization solvent. City representatives said Monday night that they’d be willing to work with OMHA to find cost-saving measures that would benefit them both.
Council Denies Request To Waive Fees For Not Clearing Snow From Sidewalk
A local property owner was cited for not clearing the snow in front of his business. He had sought to have the fees waived and points eliminated.

Fees Rising At Oswego’s Gallagher Pool
At its meeting Monday night, the Common Council approved slight increases in some of the fees for the city swimming pool. The increase will help offset the cost of operating the city pool that was almost closed during last year’s budget discussions.
