The village of Pulaski will be hopping this weekend with live music, a snow sculpture contest, free movies, a chili walk and a wing walk during the fifth annual Salmon River Winter Festival Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 29 to 31.
Oswego Warms Up For Annual Festival
Organizers said Warm Up Oswego 2012 was the biggest and best ever. Hundreds of people took part in activities inside and outside the Oswego YMCA Armory and all over the city as well. The event helped lift the Port City out of the winter doldrums.

The Native Circle Touch the Earth Festival returns to the shores of Great Lake Ontario this weekend. Admission and parking are free for this two-day event at Mexico Point State Park, just off state Route 104B. The festival will run from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Lake Ontario Writer’s Works Part Of Native Circle Touch The Earth Festival
Award-winning author, free lance writer and photographer Susan Peterson Gateley, will share her work for the fourth Native Circle Touch the Earth Festival on May 28 at Mexico Point Park. Gateley is the author of eight books about Lake Ontario history and ecology.
